Riguardo Darlington
Hello, my name is Darlington. I live in Pavia, Italy, and I have taught English for more than five years. I serve as director of a language- and test-prep school called Success Academy, which over the years has helped several learners reach their target scores in IELTS, GRE (verbal and analytic sections), TOEFL, and the SAT (reading and writing sections).
I hold a PhD in Political and Social Sciences from the University of Bologna and an MA in Governance and Public Policy from the University of Passau, qualifications that attest to my advanced proficiency in English, and give me deep insight into academic communication.

My classes are practical, student-focused and engaging. I use simple steps and real exam tasks, and also provide clear feedback so my students know where they are and what they need to work on in their language progression. In every session, I begin with a brief placement check, set a simple weekly goal, and provide sufficient practice- and take-home assignments to ensure my learners can continue their studies outside of class hours.
I also plan the study outline according to my students' competences and preferences. So if you tend to learn better with graphics, or with sounds and video, or with more practice drills, I do well to include these items in the lesson to ensure you have a personalized and engaging learning experience.
