Riguardo Carlo
I have been playing with words since I was a child. My vocation is to give meaning to what needs to be said and to help others do so in a foreign language.
My academic background consists of linguistics, literature, visual communication, and translation studies.
I chose this path because I have been fascinated by language learning all my life.
My working languages are Italian, English, and Portuguese.
I have a good basic knowledge of Spanish and would like to learn German and Dutch shortly.
My interests lie in writing innovation, digital journalism, and cognitive science.

My education comprised modules relative to language teaching theory that I have been applying during my teaching experience.
My method consists in making language learning fun. That's why I value a conversational approach rather than one based on boring grammar slides and exercises.
I think that what's important is setting a clear goal when we meet for the first time. This way, I can personalize the program and the materials around your specific necessities, expectations, and starting level.
If you are passionate about something, being an interest, a hobby, or whatnot, I invite you to talk about it right away so that I can include it in the experience: when our attention is full, we also unconsciously learn the grammatical and syntactic structures.
In other words, you'll learn Italian by talking about what you love!
