Riguardo Brooke
Hi! I’m a 31-year-old native English speaker from California. I have experience teaching students of all ages, from children to adults, and I genuinely enjoy helping people become more confident and comfortable with English.
I believe that learning a language should be practical, engaging, and enjoyable. I’m patient, approachable, and happy to adapt my lessons to each student’s individual needs and goals. Whether you’re learning English for school, work, travel, or simply to communicate more confidently, I’m here to help you along the way.
Outside of teaching, I love traveling, rock climbing, camping, reading, art, and discovering great food. I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and learning about their cultures and experiences.

My teaching approach is practical, personalized, and focused on helping students feel confident using English in real-life situations. As a native American English speaker, I help students develop natural communication skills while also improving grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and listening comprehension.
I adapt my teaching style to each student’s goals, learning style, and current level. My lessons are interactive and conversation-based, with plenty of opportunities for students to speak and practice English in a supportive, relaxed environment. I believe mistakes are a natural and important part of learning, so I encourage students to communicate without worrying about being perfect.
A typical lesson begins with a short conversation or review of previous material, followed by the main lesson focus. Depending on the student's needs, we may work on conversation, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, or listening. I use real-world topics, examples, and situations to make lessons engaging and relevant. We finish by reviewing key points and identifying areas to practice before the next lesson.
I welcome students of different ages, backgrounds, and English levels, from beginners to advanced learners. Whether you want to improve your conversational English, prepare for work or travel, strengthen your grammar, or simply become more comfortable speaking with native English speakers, I can tailor lessons to help you reach your goals.
My goal is not only to teach English, but to help students feel comfortable, confident, and independent when using it.
