Hey, my name is Mateus :) I come from a very multicultural family, mixing Brazilian, Japanese and Italian cultures. At the age of 20 I moved to Portugal for my undergraduate studies, and since then I passed through Germany and Italy as well (where I am now). My passion for languages, culture and traveling (xd) led me to study International Relations, a very well done choice. I love connecting and meeting new people, traveling, reading and consuming culture in all forms. In my leisure time you can easily find me in a concert hall or a museum. I came here to share my passion with my mother language and help people interested in learning more about Brazil and Portuguese, especially by talking about normal and daily topics.

While learning foreign languages, I believe it is essential to dive in, meaning speaking, listening and watching things that open up your horizons for it. From this, talking about interests, daily life and contemporary topics helps you to learn expressing yourself and gaining confidence in casual speeches. What I propose is therefore: - Dynamic and interactive methodology - Focus on speaking, thinking and expressing yourself - Attention and awareness of idiomatic expressions, slangs and other cultural phenomena of the language - Immersion in Brazilian culture. **Preferably suitable for youth/adults with previous knowledge of the language but flexible for anyone with real interest in learning :)
