Riguardo Malou
Hello! My name is Malou. I am Australian and currently living in Turin, where I am studying Italian and Italian culture.
I have always enjoyed meeting people from different cultures and sharing experiences, and this is one of the reasons I love teaching English. English has been an important part of my personal and professional life, and after many years of working in business and communicating with people from many different backgrounds, I realised how much I enjoy helping others develop their confidence and communication skills.
I am TEFL certified, and I want to share my knowledge because I believe learning English should be enjoyable, practical and encouraging. I especially enjoy seeing a student go from feeling nervous about speaking English to becoming confident enough to have a conversation and express themselves naturally.
I understand what it is like to learn another language because I am currently learning Italian myself. I know that making mistakes can sometimes feel uncomfortable, but I also know that mistakes are an important part of learning. This helps me create lessons where students feel relaxed, supported and comfortable speaking.
I can work with children, teenagers and adults, from beginners through to more advanced students. Whether you want to improve your conversation, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, Business English or simply become more confident speaking English, I will adapt my lessons to your individual goals and interests.
For me, teaching is not just about explaining English. It is about sharing knowledge, encouraging people and helping them discover that they are capable of more than they think.

My name is Malou, I am an Australian-Filipino TEFL certified coach based here in Turin.
If you want for a standard, boring grammar lesson, I am not the tutor for you. But if you want to speak English confidently in a corporate board room, pass an important university exam (IELTS/B2), or master a natural, fluent conversational accent, I can help you succeed.
