Riguardo Charlotte
I am a native teacher who has been training in various teaching methodologies, which means we can find the best methodology for you!
Immediately after graduating from University I moved to Brazil where I have been living, until recently, for two and a half years. Based in Rio de Janeiro, I engaged in work primarily as an English teacher for adults and teenagers, in English schools and in-company classes for many enterprises with global outreach. This job furthered my interpersonal skills, time management, leadership and most importantly a deeper understanding of Brazilian culture, politics and society, as well as business ethics and performance-oriented daily routines. I have training in different English teaching methodologies. In Wise Up, we took a multilevel approach focused on interlevel peer-based teaching and correction. In Instituto Brasileiro Estados Unidos we worked with books designed by Cambridge, with a focus on conversation and pair work to assimilate learning.
Ii have also been a teaching assistant in the UK, helping in the after school tutoring lessons of Kumon. In this role I helped young learners and teenagers in the correction of English and math work for 3 years. Other responsibilities involved helping students with reading exercises, arithmetic, timetables and spelling tests.
I volunteered in a Primary school in Guatemala to teach under privileged children English. Moreover, I was an Au Pair in Spain for a summer, becoming the primary carer of a 3 year old Spanish boy. My role was to help him in the day-to-day tasks and teach English to him at the same time.

I have been teaching English in Rio de Janeiro in English Language schools, in-company classes, private and groups, and implementing the best methods for conversational fluency.
