Hi, I'm Cate! I'm 18 years old and in the past 3 years of my life I've lived as an international student in the UK . After completing my GCSEs in year 11 (biennio italiano), I've entered the Sixth Form (triennio italiano) where I opted for a more international route by doing the IB. I completed my diploma in May and I'm currently studying for Uni entrance exams. I was born and raised in Italy hence, I can perfectly communicate in both Italian and English. The IB diploma enabled me to achieve a C1 level of English with the perk of being in contact with anglophone culture 24/7 for the past 3 years. Despite my young age, I know exactly the struggles of learning a new language and and I can help new learners like you to overcome them. I know it might sound clichè but the best way of learning a language is practicing speaking it and I'm the perfect speaking buddy you might be looking for!

My lessons' aim is to boost the confidence of new English learners by practicing speaking the language. This is way the lessons will evolve around conversation shaped accordingly to the needs of my students. Depending on what my students' goals are, I will make sure to practice with them useful sentences, idioms and day to day situations. This is why my lessons target students who have already a general background of the language and who want to improve their English skills by speaking English with me.
