My Teaching Approach & Methodology
• Teaching Techniques and Methods
My teaching philosophy is built on one core principle: logic over memorization. As an Information Engineering student, I know that simply memorizing a formula or a line of code doesn't work when faced with a complex exam question. I teach students how to deconstruct problems. Using my background in digital content creation, I specialize in taking dense, intimidating subjects—like object-oriented programming, physics or calculus—and breaking them down into highly visual, easy-to-digest concepts. I use real-world analogies so that the theory actually makes sense.
• Teaching Specificities
My greatest strength is bridging the gap between theory and application. For example, when teaching programming (Java/Python), I don't just teach syntax; I teach algorithmic thinking—how to structure data, use stacks, and build efficient searches. Additionally, because I teach in English, Italian students gain a massive dual benefit: they master their STEM subjects while simultaneously immersing themselves in technical, conversational English, which is a critical skill for their future careers.
• Target Audience
I tailor my lessons to two main groups:
High School Students: Looking for help with Mathematics, Physics, and foundational computer science. I help them boost their grades, prepare for crucial exams, and build confidence.
University Students & Beginners: International or local peers who need tutoring in programming languages (Java, Python, C#), data structures, and foundational engineering mathematics (like Calculus 1).
