Riguardo Emerald
My name is Emerald, I'm 19 years old. I grew up travelling to many different countries for long periods at a time, and most of the people I met and became good friends with, could not understand a word of english. Eventually, I began teaching english to my friends whilst they taught me their native language. Now knowing the basics and up in 7 different languages, learning and teaching all over the world has become a passion of mine.

My goal is to create a positive and enjoyable learning experience that fosters a love for language while meeting the unique needs of each student.
Personally I think, the best and easiest method to use when learning a new language is through engaging in casual conversations. Which is why I start each lesson with a friendly conversation communicating an overview of my students day in english, to set a positive tone and create a comfortable and friendly learning atmosphere. Once I get a better understanding of which skills need work, I can adjust accordingly to best suit my students needs.
I will be incorporating language-based games or challenges that can add an element of fun and competition, making the lessons more engaging. Afterclass, I will assign my students books or movies to make language concepts more memorable and easier to grasp. I believe learning a new language should be an enjoyable and encouraging experience, and most of all, it should be fun.
Understanding the varied schedules of students, I offer flexibility in lesson scheduling to accommodate their availability.
Whether a one-on-one session or a small group, each student is unique, and I tailor lesson plans based on individual learning styles, goals, and areas that need improvement.
I can work with a range of age groups and levels, however my approach is particularly well-suited for teenagers and young adults at beginner to intermediate level, who may appreciate a more casual and relatable teaching style.
I maintain open communication with students and encourage them to share their thoughts, concerns, and goals. This creates a supportive, stress-free learning environment.
