Qualified and Experienced English Language Teacher (English Teaching Qualification and 13+ years' working experience)

Cerasela with her ability to connect and understand my needs is the best teacher I’ve ever had.
For every lesson she spends time to find topics based on my interests in order to get me more focused and involved in the training. Flexible to adapt her lessons' content quickly if she thinks you need more time to get something. She really cares about me getting unstuck: she gently supports me clarifying my doubts so I always leave her lessons feeling positive and more confident. She has also been able to help me overcome my frustration about studying English without results. She is an indispensable support for me and during her lessons I feel at home with her.

Cerasela is great! She is really one of the best English teacher that I met. Professional, nice, motivated for this job and creative since she always tries to motivate her students with different ways of working. Very raccomanded!

Professionalism, kindness and availability. Thanks to Cerasela’s English lessons I could hit my goals: passing IELTS exam with high results and enrolling in an English university. I consider Cerasela an excellent teacher as her advice go beyond English lessons. She always encouraged me to achieve my goals. Moreover, she made me passionate about English as her lessons are not focused exclusively on grammar and exams’ preparation, indeed, I had the opportunity to expand my knowledge in English by reading newspaper articles and listening documentaries with her. For these reasons, I highly recommend Cerasela! I really miss her lessons.

Cerasela is a fantastic teacher. She is very calm and accurate and tries to push you to do your best and provides all the support and materials you need to achieve your goals. Her lessons are always interesting and cover all the aspects (for example speaking, listening, vocabulary etc.) of the language that you study (in my case English) in order to upgrade your level. She also focuses on mistakes in a positive way so that you do not repeat them. I am improving at a fast pace with her and now I am able to speak in English with more fluency and use more complex vocabulary and structures. I would definitely recommend her and I am very happy to have Cerasela as an English teacher.

Cerasela is a passionate teacher who teaches with great enthusiasm and professionalism. Using a lot of humour and creating a relaxed atmosphere, she allowed me to improve my English language level in a pleasant and effective way. Although I initially thought the fact she could speak Italian was not going to be a good idea, in the very first lesson she proved me this could only further facilitate my learning process, not only because she could spot the most common mistakes Italians make but also because she was able to target those exact differences in grammar structures/expressions and explain them straightforwardly. Compared to other teachers I have had, she also avoided the use of a classic textbook and adapted her teaching to what I really needed in order to fill my knowledge gaps. She particularly focused on listening and understanding through the use of blogs, podcasts, online news, song lyrics, TV series and books. In addition, each lesson always started with a revision activity focusing on the notions previously learned, which enabled me to correct my mistakes and progress very quickly.
Furthermore, she has helped me become more confident when communicating with colleagues, simulating work-related presentations and meetings with my manager.
For all the above reasons I would enthusiastically recommend Cerasela to any language learner.

Cerasela is a gifted communicator and an accomplished linguist with excellent skills in English. Her enthusiasm, charm and expertise have encouraged many of our students and their partners, for whom English is not their first language, to participate in workshops and other events to improve their skills in English.

Lesson Observation with Yr 12 Italian IB at Elthorn Park High School

“High expectations of the students and challenging activities, from working out the meaning of a proverb, applying grammatical rules, oral work in pairs, kept all students on task until the end. A positive and happy learning environment was created. An outstanding lesson with logical progression of all tasks and skills and impressive PowerPoint presentations of all tasks made learning accessible, clearly interesting and relevant.

Cerasela has completely succeeded in organising her own lessons delineating a program with clear objectives, which has completely brought to completion, proving a clear confidence and the right flexibility and pro-activity in dealing with a totally variegate and stimulating group of students. At the end of the course she has received the maximum of appreciation from both students and teachers for her commitment and professionalism.

Cerasela has been a real asset to the department. She shows a clear capacity to evaluate different teaching approaches and to reflect upon her own practice. She has worked very effectively as part of the Modern Foreign Languages team and built rapport with learners.
I cannot comment highly enough her ability to independently plan and research her materials and evaluate her teaching.

Spanish IGCSE. Outcome: A* in oral and written exams
An excellent and conscientious tutor, Cerasala has provided excellent support for our daughter in preparation for her Spanish IGCSE. She always comes prepared with topics for her lessons and uses varied and interesting materials to build on the syllabus. She really helped develop confidence in both spoken and written language. She is always on time, reliable and charming.

I was impressed by her total commitment and dedication to teaching and by her great linguistic ability and multi - talent in all areas of teaching. Cerasela also was well liked by all members in the Language Faculty because of her ability to work well in a team and for making valuable contribution to the department. Cerasela's punctuality and attendance record was outstanding; she is a very reliable and conscientious person who would never want to let anyone down.

Ms Cerasela is an extraordinary teacher. As her pupil I have seen many examples of her talent in linguistics and her broad interests not only in the Italian culture and civilisation but also in British, French and Spanish. She is reliable, dynamic and intelligent person with a good sense of humour. It is a pleasure to spend some time with her every week.
I will always hold her in the highest esteem and I highly recommend Ms Cerasela as a talented teacher and a great person.
