Riguardo Maria Cristina
Hello! I'm Maria Cristina, a qualified English teacher with 20 years of teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor's in Secondary Education, Major in English, and TEFL - Teaching English as a Foreign Language certification. Furthermore, I have also completed the academic units leading to the degree of Master of Arts in Education Major in Administration and Supervision.
Although I’m not a native speaker, English has been my language of work and teaching for two decades. During lessons, I focus on using English to create a natural and immersive learning environment, which many students and parents prefer for faster progress.
I know what it feels like to be a second-language learner, and that’s why I teach with extra patience and encouragement. I don’t just teach English, I help my students grow in confidence.
I’m a patient, creative, and encouraging teacher. I believe that learning should be joyful, personalized, and supportive. I also create my own digital English workbooks to help students continue practicing outside of lessons.

My English lessons are tailored to the needs, goals, and level of each learner, whether you are a child, a teenager, or an adult. I offer personalized and engaging lessons for both children and adults. My teaching style is patient, joyful, and supportive, focusing on each learner’s unique pace and needs.
For children, I use fun methods like storytelling, songs, and visual tools to make learning enjoyable. For teens and adults, I provide grammar support, conversation practice, vocabulary building, and practical communication skills.
I also use English as the main language of instruction to create a natural learning environment. My goal is not only to teach the language but also to inspire confidence, love for learning, and meaningful connection.
