Riguardo Kyran
I am very social, engaging inquisitive, curious, motivated hardworking, positive and creative. I was born and grew up in Brighton, England until moved to The Netherlands when I was 14 years old. Now I live in Bologna. I am educated bilinguamente in English-Dutch.
I view myself as a global citizen. Additionally I have a minor certificate and honors star in the fields of Mindful Communication and 'Critical Thinking' & Global Citizenship', which play a vital role to my approach as a teacher, language coach & cultural expert.
Friends, family and my arts are important in my life. I do bouldering, I go to the gym and I love to play piano and music. I enjoy going out into the city with my friends, dancing, concerts, festivals, listening to music and reading. I am extremely passionate in history, mythology, philosophy, psychology, anthropology, religious studies, and open-mindedness. Furthermore I love running, teaching, new experiences & challenges, skiing, snowboarding, swimming, movies, anime, laughing etc.

I have a Bachelor as an English Teacher. I have 5 years experience as a tutor and in front of the classroom (including IB International School).
I offer face-to-face and online teaching lessons. You can count on me to focus on your specific needs. This includes creating personal lessons, adapting worksheets, giving free homework that fit your level. I am always available through the week if you need to ask any questions (free of cost).
My teaching style prioritises in Content-Language Integrated learning, Communicative Language Teaching and especially English for specific purposes (ESP) from Beginner-Advanced level. Furthermore I teach personalised learning where together, on the basis of what you need, you can learn how to analysis academic texts or read in between the lines in literature or speak English & present a PowerPoint with confidence & self-empowerment.
It is important to me to have an uplifting and energising connection with students where being friendly and having constructive solution-based coaching attitude will create a safe environment for learning and growth.
I have many years of online teaching experience and am very well equipped with the use of online materials.
