Riguardo Olya
I graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University. In 2015 I took a one year internship in Turin, Italy, where I also got my C2 level Italian language certificate. Since 2018 I have lived in Rome where I am pursuing a master's degree in publishing. I am constantly struggling to improve my teaching skills by taking various professional courses. Conversational Italian, getting along with locals better during your next trip to this amazing country, preparing for an exam, enrolling at an Italian university, moving for a job or personal reasons... Whatever reason you have, I will be delighted to help you to boost your Italian!

Ciao e benvenuto/a! Since you are here, I guess you dream of Italy and mastering its beautiful language. Or maybe you even want to give a try to living a dolce vita? Well, I was exactly like you a few years ago. I moved from Russia to Italy, got a C2 level language certificate and now help others to pursue their Italian dreams. I hope I can become your guide and that you will enjoy our lessons! My teaching principles are simple but proven:
- I choose an individual program for each student based on the interests and goals you have.
- I am a big fan of the communicative and lexical approach in learning foreign languages. During the lessons I will pay attention to grammar and theory, but most of the time we will practice: we will talk, discuss different topics, learn to express our opinions and have dialogues.
- With me you will learn more about Italian culture, its music, literature, cinema, politics, economics, history, modern life and of course food! We will use all of this as the content for our lessons.
- My goal is to build a respectful and confidential relationship with students. I like when there is room for laughter, curiosity and fun at our lessons. But at the same time, I ask my students for consistency and commitment, because only by working together we achieve an excellent result.
- Don't worry, I'll provide you with all the material you need for our lessons.
