Riguardo Emma
Hi! My name is Emma. I'm originally from the United States, but I'm living in Milan right now studying the Italian language and teaching English!
I was inspired to begin teaching through my love for languages and cultures. Learning a new method of communicating is exciting and endlessly fascinating! Though the best part of teaching now is growing and learning alongside students. Helping learners express themselves in a new way is rewarding in ways words can't describe.
In addition to my teaching certifications I have a university degree in Vocal Music, and am also very passionate about anything art, travel, or music related.

Having been studying a foreign language in Milan for the past several months, I personally know what it’s like to be on the other side of a language lesson. My lessons are based on the use of carefully curated materials that are presented in an engaging way. I believe in tailoring each lesson to the most important person, you – the student! Everyone learns differently, and through full immersion during our study sessions, and materials that both interest and serve the your needs, I believe anyone can learn English in a fun and meaningful way!
Lessons are geared to any age, for beginner or intermediate students. Younger learners needing extra assistance with English classes and homework are encouraged!
I offer 30 or 50 minute lessons, both online and in-person. Each lesson will cover both comprehension and production in a variety of exercises in speaking, writing, and listening.
