Hello! My name is James Dismas John, and I am a passionate English teacher with over four years of experience teaching children and adults at Harbin Wanbang School in China. I love sharing my knowledge because I believe learning English opens doors to new opportunities, personal growth, and global connections. Teaching is not just my profession but my passion. I enjoy helping students gain confidence, improve their communication skills, and achieve their goals. I am patient, supportive, and committed to creating a friendly and motivating learning environment where every student can succeed and enjoy the process of learning English.

My teaching method is highly interactive, personalised, and practical, designed to make English learning engaging and enjoyable for all ages. I focus on real-life communication rather than rote memorisation, helping students build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I use a mix of games, role-plays, storytelling, and multimedia resources to keep lessons dynamic and memorable. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s individual level, interests, and goals, ensuring that learning is relevant and motivating. I emphasise active participation, encouraging students to speak from the first lesson, ask questions freely, and practise English in realistic contexts. This approach not only improves language skills faster but also makes learning enjoyable and boosts long-term retention. With my experience teaching both children and adults in China, I have learned how to adapt techniques to different learning styles, making each session effective, fun, and uniquely suited to the student.
