Hi! my name is Paolo and I'm a native Italian speaker from Rome.
I'm fluent in English and French, I've a good Spanish and basic Persian.
I ve a real passion for languages and communicating with people, I love teaching!
I got a degree from University of Siena for teaching Italian to foreigners and I have been working as a teacher for 5 years now, giving private lessons both face to face and online to students of all ages from all over the world. I am also a tourist guide, so I like to convey the beauty of Italian culture together with linguistic knowledge.

My approach is to deal with topics of interest to the student, both through conversation and reading articles and short texts.
I am calm and patient, I speak clear and without accent, so that the student can understand me easily and above all so that he is relaxed and having fun while learning. I am ready to face all the doubts and to answer questions, even the same ones several times!
If you are a beginner we will start by tackling the phonetics and simple phrases used in everyday life and then come up with the grammatical rules.
If you have already a good knowledge of the language we will be able to work more on the conversation and deepen particular grammatical aspects or cultural interests according to the needs.
During the first lesson we will define the objectives to be achieved and the time necessary, then I will make a personalized study plan based on these elements.
After the lesson I will send study material such as links to the Internet, pdf or exercises so that if you want, you can deepen the topics covered.
If you have special needs, such as preparing for an exam or studying the language in a particular sector, contact me and I will get back to you shortly.
