Riguardo Ornella
I am PhD student in Biological Anthropology with a rich international experience. As I faced language barriers myself while I was a stranger abroad (in time order: Spain, Germany, Tanzania, UK, Romania, Madagascar), I became aware about the importance of learning local languages, besides the comfort-grey zone created by colonial languages that usually connect us in the good and the bad, as first form of empowerment when settling down, or just visiting, somewhere new. I therefore completed a course in Italian teaching, in the hope to help others in making the best of their experience in Italy. Cominciamo!

I use an integrated approach that combines deductive and inductive methods to help you to overcome the communicative situations that you are most likely to encounter during your Italian journey. Lessons will start with global inputs to achieve specific language rules you can re-apply in different contexts. QCER European standards will be used as trail to build the program that best suits your needs. In order to simplify that, I recommend an informal chat on your goals and interests before starting with the course. Whether you are a student, a worker, a tourist or a curious, the main idea is to teach you how to learn and to be independent!
In Rome for a hit-and-run (toccata e fuga) experience? A cappuccino ordered in Italian tastes better, and knowing the basic of the language that surrounds you can save you anytime. Get in touch for single lessons to feel more connected with the Eternal City!
