Riguardo Elisa
Hi! I'm Elisa, a native Italian speaker and a Business & Management student at the University of Turin.
I have a Cambridge C1 English certification and an American High School Diploma, so I am comfortable communicating in English and using it when necessary to explain Italian words, expressions or grammar concepts.
I offer Italian conversation practice and tutoring for people who want to improve their Italian in a relaxed and informal way. I particularly enjoy meeting people from different countries and cultures, and I think that having a conversation with a native speaker is one of the best ways to become more confident in a language.
I'm a patient, friendly and open-minded person, and I will always try to adapt our conversations to your level and interests. You don't need to worry about making mistakes — they are part of the learning process!
Whether you are a complete beginner or already speak some Italian, we can practise together, clarify anything you find difficult and gradually make Italian a more natural part of your everyday communication.

My approach is informal, practical and personalised. As a native Italian speaker, I offer Italian tutoring and conversation practice for people who want to improve their confidence and become more comfortable using the language.
I am not a professional Italian teacher, so my lessons are not structured like a traditional language course. Instead, I focus on conversation, practical exercises and helping you with the areas you find difficult.
A typical lesson can be adapted to what you need. We can, for example:
️ practise Italian conversation on everyday topics;
work on vocabulary and common expressions;
review grammar and clarify concepts you find difficult;
practise listening and comprehension;
️ correct written exercises or texts;
simulate real-life conversations and situations;
talk about Italian culture and everyday life.
One of my advantages is that I also speak English at Cambridge C1 level. This means that if you are a beginner and don't understand something in Italian, I can explain the concept in English and help you understand the difference between the two languages. As you improve, we can gradually use more Italian during our conversations.
My lessons are mainly aimed at teenagers and adults, from complete beginners to intermediate learners. They can be particularly useful if you are travelling to Italy, planning to live or study here, or simply want to practise speaking with a native Italian speaker.
The goal is simple: to give you a comfortable space to practise Italian, ask questions, make mistakes and gradually become more confident speaking the language.
