Riguardo Umberta
Hi! I am Umberta, a 23 y.o. MA student in interpreting and translation with a passion for the Italian language. I graduated in language mediation and at present I'm majoring in conference interpreting (English and German). During my Bachelor's Degree course, I spent a semester as an Erasmus student in Munich and such a great experience gave me the opportunity to get in touch with different cultures and traditions.
I am very respectful, reliable, warm, caring, and patient, it is highly important for me to make you achieve the goals we set together during the assessment.

My main aim is to give students the tools to gain an understanding of the language structure and a certain degree of fluency on communication, with a practical emphasis on language awareness, phonology and of course based on your characteristics and needs.
I have learnt that the best method is student-centred, where I can get you (students) involved throughout the lesson, keep you motivated by choosing those activities that interest you and include real life situations, making you able to communicate.
I use to organize lessons in advance through some papers:
• Lesson plan, following 3 phases: Engage, Study, Activate
• Needs evaluation test
• Short and long-term goals
