Hi! I’m Valeria, a native Italian speaker from Milan. I’ve been living abroad for a few years now and I know how difficult and stressful it can be to speak a new language.
One year ago I signed in as an Italian tutor on Preply to help people speak Italian naturally and feel more and more comfortable using it.
I am now a highly qualified tutor with a verified teaching certificate on the platform, with almost one year of teaching experience and more than 350 lessons taught.

Living outside Italy for several years, I know exactly what it means to learn a language and struggle to speak it with confidence. That’s why in my lessons I focus on what really matters: helping you communicate naturally and without fear.
Although I don’t have a traditional teaching background, I have developed a very practical approach thanks to my experience living abroad.
My method is based on:
simple conversations about topics you truly care about
active listening and helpful corrections
personalized lessons based on your goals
Each lesson is designed to help you make real progress and gradually build your confidence step by step.
My goal is simple: to help you speak Italian naturally and feel more and more comfortable using it.
Learning a language as an adult can be challenging, I know that very well.
Speaking without feeling confident is one of the biggest hurdles, and that’s exactly what we will work on together.
Together we will:
have relaxed, personalized conversations based on your interests
receive practical and useful corrections without stress
feel more and more confident every time you speak Italian
My goal is to help you speak naturally, without fear of making mistakes.
