I am writing this recommendation for Stefan from the perspective of a former colleague, a previous student of him, and a very good friend.

I truly believe Stefan naturally enjoys teaching and he has the gift to motivate his students to continue learning and never give up.

During our studies at the University of Tuebingen, in Germany, he was my tutor for the Hydrogeology class. Stefan has always managed to stay calm despite the huge amount of questions my colleagues and I had :-) and I was highly impressed of his knowledge and ability to come up with creative examples.

Stefan è un vero superprof, disponibile e molto simpatico.
Mi sono rivolto a lui per migliorare il mio "speaking" e devo dire che già dopo poche lezioni mi sento molto più sicuro.
Essendo molto alla mano non mi sono mai sentito in imbarazzo nel simulare conversazioni in inglese.

It is a great pleasure to recommend Stefan as a Super tutor to everyone who would like to succeed in his math and physics courses! I met Stefan in the first year of our master's where we became good friends and I owe him a big part of my master's success. Before our first exams, Stefan gathered us (a bunch of colleagues) in a classroom and started solving the hardest problems on the board. What was complicated before, Stefan managed to make it a piece of cake within a few hours and showed us the hidden methodology behind the complex exercises. The day after, we all passed the exams! A year later, Stefan was hired by our university as a tutor. During his tutorials, I managed to fill lots of knowledge gaps in maths, fully understand the principles in physics, and improve my numerical/calculations skills. Not only he did help me pass the most demanding exams but also helped me achieve exceptional grades (I could not even dream of them)! Stefan has a natural talent for teaching, he knows how to transfer his knowledge and how to break down a complex problem/concept into small pieces. He doesn't just show the solution of an exercise but explain the right way of thinking which you need to develop in order to face any kind of given problem. Besides his scientific skills, he is a very positive person who will bring you the positive mindset you need during the exams period. He is a very patient, calm, methodic teacher with a good pace and clear speaking! For Stefan, teaching is not a job, but his life passion!

Stefan is very good at breaking down difficult topics. In this way, he makes things very simple to understand. His classes helped me to pass one of the difficult exams during my studies.

In addition to teaching, he is a calm person. I have not seen him getting angry at me with my questions. So, I would definitely recommend him if you wanna pass any exam or wanna learn about any new topics or subjects.
