I am a 31 year-old teacher from Melbourne, Australia. I was a national swimming coach from ages 18-24, then a Teacher of English Language and Literacy from ages 24-31. I graduated with Distinction in my class, and am completing my Masters here in Padova. This is my first time living in a city in my life, because I was raised on a cherry farm. I'm a very patient and understanding teacher, and I prepare very well for lessons.

Here's how it works:
Free Trial Lesson (~30 Minutes): We talk all about you. We talk about your experience, your goals, your learning style. I show you a learning plan I have made for you and you tell me if you like it or if you want to try something different. We agree on the next lesson time and date.
Lesson programs offered (and recommended times) :
IELTS Preparation (10 Lessons) - You tell me your bands, I help you get there. I'm great, but not a miracle worker, please be realistic in your goals, or consider how many lessons it will take. I can guide you.
Conversation Buddy (1 Lesson+) - You tell me your conversational goals, I prepare situations and role play conversations to make the learning fun and worthwhile. I'm an excellent conversationalist, don't worry about it being awkward.
Grammar Lessons/Academic English/Business English (5 Lessons) - You tell me your goals, I prepare lessons for you and teach you as a private student. I have lessons for every possible aspect of English you could want to learn about, and follow the CELTA model in my teaching.

Sam is very patient and easy to understand because his native language is English and he has experience as a teacher in Australia. Instructions from Sam are clear and easy to follow which quickly gave me confidence to improve my English reading, writing and speaking skills. Sam is very friendly and understanding which made me feel comfortable asking questions and having me want to learn more. Thank you Sam!
