I recently moved to Rome to experience Italian life, as my father was born in the Marche region and lived there before moving to the United States when he married my mom. I absolutely love being able to communicate with Italians in their native language and enjoyed learning Italian with my Dad. Learning a new language is such an invaluable skill for anyone, regardless of their goals or situation. I want to share my love of teaching, learning, and communicating in a new language with you!

Hi! My name is Claudia Quintabà, and I am a native English speaker with bilingual proficiency in Italian and limited working proficiency in French! I recently graduated with my Bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I love to work with students of all ages, and I am happy to offer remote or in-person lessons. I have experience tutoring students ages 6 to 18 in English, Reading, Mathematics, Communication, and Leadership. My methodology as a teacher and tutor is first to assess your strengths, weaknesses, and passions for learning. I will then structure a detailed plan focusing on the specific areas you want to improve with tangible end goals, utilizing your existing skills, strengthening your weaknesses, and highlighting your interests. I will work at your pace and welcome your feedback on how to better structure future lessons! I will have you complete a short survey periodically to check in on how you are feeling about your progress to ensure that you are on track to achieve your goals!
