Hello, my name is Norell and I’m a native English teacher from Boston, Massachusetts with over 6 years of teaching experience.
Over the years, I’ve worked with students of different ages, levels, and backgrounds through private lessons, schools, and language academies. My main focus is helping students feel more natural and comfortable while speaking English.
I genuinely love teaching because every student brings a different perspective, personality, and way of communicating. Teaching has allowed me to meet people from many different backgrounds, and I feel that I continue learning through those exchanges as well.
I believe language learning should feel engaging, personal, and human. My lessons are calm, conversation-based, and adapted to each student’s goals and personality. Whether you want to improve your fluency for travel, work, daily life, or personal growth, I create a relaxed environment where you can practice without fear of making mistakes.
Outside of teaching, I’m deeply interested in culture, storytelling, nature, food, travel, and meaningful conversations. I enjoy connecting with people from different backgrounds and bringing that curiosity into my lessons as well.

My teaching approach is centered on helping students speak English naturally and without pressure. I believe people learn best when they feel relaxed, understood, and free to make mistakes during the learning process.
My lessons are mainly conversation-based and personalized according to each student’s goals, interests, and level. I focus on improving fluency, listening, pronunciation, vocabulary, and confidence through real communication rather than repetitive memorization.
A typical lesson usually begins with a relaxed conversation to help the student warm up and speak naturally. From there, we work on vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar corrections when needed, and practical expressions used in everyday life. I adapt the lesson rhythm depending on the student’s personality and learning style.
I especially enjoy helping students unblock their fear of speaking English and become more at ease expressing themselves naturally. My teaching style is patient, calm, supportive, and encouraging.
My lessons are suitable for teenagers and adults of all levels, from beginners to advanced students, especially those who want to improve their spoken English for travel, work, daily life, or personal confidence.
