Riguardo Tara
Hi! I'm an English teacher with more than 4 years of experience, I started teaching when I was just 20, and it's been one of the best decisions I've made. Working with kids and teenagers is where I feel most in my element; there's nothing better than watching a shy student slowly turn into someone who's excited to speak up in English. I've been teaching at Iranmehr Institute since November 2022, working mostly with students between 9 and 18, and I also hold an IELTS score of 7 plus a TTC certificate, so the fundamentals are solid too. Right now I'm studying Global Humanities at Sapienza University, which keeps me curious about language and how people communicate across cultures.
I teach both online and in person here in Italy, and I work with private students as well as small groups, depending on what fits best.
Teaching kids and teens is genuinely my strength. Over the years I've learned how to keep lessons fun and age-appropriate without losing focus — lots of energy, patience, and creativity, so class feels engaging rather than like "just another lesson." I know how to adjust my approach depending on the age and personality of each student, which makes a big difference with younger learners especially.
Alongside that, I also help students with IELTS preparation and speaking practice. For IELTS, we work through realistic exam-style tasks so nothing feels unfamiliar on test day. For speaking, I create a relaxed space where mistakes are totally normal, that's how fluency actually grows.
Every lesson has a clear purpose, I create my own materials rather than relying on generic textbooks, and I always give honest, encouraging feedback. Whether you're a parent looking for the right teacher for your child, a teenager wanting to build confidence, or an adult working on IELTS or speaking skills, I'd love to help you get there.

English has been my thing since November 2022, teaching at Iranmehr Institute, and honestly? I still love every second of it. I've got an IELTS score of 7 and a TTC certificate under my belt, but what really gets me excited is IELTS prep, speaking practice, and working with kids and teens.
How I Teach
IELTS doesn't have to feel intimidating. We keep it practical, work through real exam-style tasks, and build up your confidence so test day feels like just another day, not a big scary event. When it comes to speaking, I'm all about creating a space where you can just talk, mess up, laugh it off, try again. That's literally how fluency happens. And with my younger students? Lessons feel more like fun than "class." Games, creativity, a little chaos sometimes, whatever keeps them engaged and actually excited to show up.
A Typical Lesson:
We usually kick things off with a quick catch-up on what we covered last time, then move into whatever the focus is IELTS practice, a speaking topic, or an activity built specifically for younger learners. Before we wrap up, I always give honest, useful feedback, so you walk away knowing exactly what clicked and what needs a bit more work.
A Little About My Style:
I don't just grab whatever worksheet pops up first online, I carefully choose the best materials out there, whether that's IELTS practice sets, speaking prompts, or fun exercises tailored for kids. Having taught students from age 9 to 18, I've picked up a good sense of how to shift my energy depending on who I'm working with
