Riguardo Hitomi
I am a native speaker born and raised in Japan. Currently, I teach Japanese online to students worldwide and help friends perfect their speaking skills. Because of this, my teaching style is highly interactive and conversational. I don’t just lecture from a textbook; I act as your supportive conversation partner, helping you bridge the gap between "knowing" Japanese and "actually speaking" it.

Konnichiwa! I’m Hitomi, a native Japanese speaker offering conversation-focused Japanese lessons for learners of all levels.
If you are tired of just studying grammar and want to start using the language, my lessons are perfect for you!
My lessons are suitable for:

My teaching style focuses on:
Speaking from the very first minute — maximizing your talking time during the lesson
Real, natural Japanese — learning the slang, casual speech, and politeness nuances that native speakers actually use (not just textbook language)
Immediate feedback — correcting your pronunciation and phrasing gently in real-time
Fun, role-play scenarios — practicing practical situations like ordering food, shopping, or chatting with friends
