Riguardo Francesca
I’m a CELTA-trained teacher who has been working in the ESL industry for around 5 years. Due to my diverse work experience, I am used to working under pressure and finding creative solutions to problems.
I consider myself to be extremely passionate about teaching ESL: I greatly enjoy witnessing students’ progress and I believe the most satisfying aspect of this type of work is that I have the chance of building professional but amicable relationships with people from very different walks of life; I learn as much as I teach. I can say the same for my tutoring experience: when I manage to clarify an aspect of the language or the literature to a student who is possibly discouraged by their school experience and I see the lightbulb that goes off, that is a really great feeling.
I started studying English by myself when I was only six years old, so I can say that learning English has been my biggest passion throughout my entire life and that thanks to this experience I have a clear understanding of the difficulties students might have when studying this language
