My approach to teaching the piano
I believe that learning the piano should be both enjoyable and effective. My aim is to help every student develop solid technique, musical understanding and personal expression at the instrument.
Teaching techniques and methods
Strong focus on healthy piano technique (hand position, relaxation, finger independence, sound production)
Combination of classical foundations with jazz, pop and contemporary styles
Practical approach to harmony, accompaniment and improvisation
Ear training and rhythmic development integrated into every lesson
Repertoire chosen according to the student’s taste and goals (classical pieces, jazz standards, popular songs, film music, etc.)
Encouragement of creativity — students learn not only to read and play, but also to understand and interpret music
Typical lesson structure
Technical warm-up (scales, arpeggios, exercises for independence and flexibility)
Work on current repertoire
Harmony / theory applied directly at the piano
Improvisation, accompaniment or sight-reading (depending on level and interests)
Short summary and clear practice plan for the next week
Teaching details
Individual lessons in person in Rome or online
Flexible scheduling
Suitable material provided or recommended
Possibility to prepare for exams, auditions, or simply for personal pleasure
Languages: Polish, English (and basic Italian)
